The challenging Br1 mountain bike circuit runs right past the guesthouse – ideal for ambitious cyclists. In the surrounding area, numerous other cycle paths invite you to go on tours for every fitness level. In addition, cycling enthusiasts can choose between three particularly attractive routes that lead along rivers and through deep valleys: the Three Valleys Trail, the Green Spelt Trail and the Sculpture Trail.
E-bikes can be hired from Schmidt Adventureparts – the bikes are delivered directly to the guesthouse, even at short notice, and then picked up again afterwards. So nothing stands in the way of cycling fun.

From the Landhaus guesthouse, you can reach numerous circular hiking trails that lead you to the most beautiful corners of the Brombachtal valley. Well-signposted paths invite you to take short walks as well as extended tours with magnificent views.

For the more athletically ambitious, there is also the Alemannenweg (138 km quality hiking trail, via Böllstein). And those looking for more ambitious goals can cross the entire Odenwald on the famous Nibelungensteig.

Horseback riders and their companions are very welcome. We offer a beautiful large meadow for grazing and water.

Michelstadt, a charming little town near the country house, is famous for its picturesque old town and its sights:
the Old Town Hall (1484), one of the oldest town halls in Germany with a museum,
the old town with half-timbered houses and small shops,
the Lichtigfeld Museum, a Jewish museum with a reused synagogue,
and Einhard's Basilica in Steinbach, a Carolingian building over 1200 years old.
